height="200" align="left"/>Super Bowl Sunday is less than two weeks away, and it?s down to four teams. So, it?s time to plan your game day menu! Let the About Guides to Food & Drink help you plan your menu with our Super Bowl recipe exchange. We will be offering plenty of marvelous Super Bowl recipes to choose from, starting today and right up until the coin toss.

Vegetarian Choices

From Jolinda Hackett, About?s Guide to Vegetarian Cooking, we have a homemade bean dip. She says, I prefer to make my own homemade bean dip, and I recommend you avoid the sodium-laden canned stuff and make your own as well. It?s quite easy, and even the most laid-back Super Bowl party host can pop open some beans and add some salsa and cheese. Here are eleven vegetarian bean dip recipes to choose from for your vegetarian or vegan Super Bowl party.

Vegetarian Super Bowl snacks should be quick and easy to prepare so that you can spend time enjoying the game, popping back beers, or screaming at the TV, depending on who?s winning. And, with all those multi-million dollar commercials, who wants to pop back into the kitchen during a commercial break? Not me, that?s for sure!

If you?d rather eat on the light side and pass up the wings (even the vegetarian wings and meatless mini-?meat?balls), here?s a few lighter snacks that are still absolutely munch-able and a breeze to prep in advance:
Apple and soy nut butter pita pockets
Toasted pita chips with edamame hummus (pictured)
Stuffed mushrooms with walnut pate
