Vintage Wedding Accessory Design Business Becomes Globally Known

PICKERINGTON--For one couple, every day is a wedding. The two started their own vintage wedding accessory design business to sell brooch bouquets that never wilt. After one of these arrangements appeared in Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton's wedding in 2011, the two have become a global sensation.

For Jen and Jason Diehl, wedding bells are still ringing. Jason proposed to Jen in Ohio Theater in 2008. Two years later, the couple tied the knot. They've been designing accessories for brides and grooms ever since.

The Ritzy Rose is located in downtown Pickerington. From fishing hooks to music knobs, the Diehls have left their mark in thousands of wedding ceremonies. For the grooms, they design boutineers. Jen builds vintage brooch bouquets for brides, a unique alternative to freshly cut flowers.

"I've made like 200 since. Definitely perfected my construction skills since then," Jen Diehl said.

Jen carried her first brooch bouquet down the aisle on her wedding day. Now the couple works to put a bit of sparkle into every ceremony.

"The one thing that we tell brides and grooms again and again is just make it about yourself," Jason Diehl said.

Because for the couple, the magical moment has never ended.
