Salary; ?30,000 plus excellent bonus package
Working for a small sized Mechanical contractor in Staffordshire, who specialise in projects up to ?1m. They seek an experienced mechanical estimator who has at least 5 years? experience to join their business.
This role has arisen as there is currently no mechanical estimator and due to the increase of work and repeat business they are seeking a candidate who will be the sole Mechanical Estimator for the business.
The Mechanical Estimator will be given full responsibility of tendering, and estimating for commercial and industrial projects for values up to ?1m
This is a new position and the successful candidate will play a major role within the estimating division. The right candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and can work without supervision.
You will be responsible for:
? Interpretation of mechanical tender documentation
? Working on mechanical commercial/industrial projects of up to ?1m
? Working on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects
? Quoting for mechanical projects using a computerised system
? Dealing with enquiries, liaising with external clients and attending meetings
