On Wednesday, the Football Bowl Association officially released the cumulative schedule for the 2013-14
bowl season. A total of 35 bowl games are scheduled to be played in 28 cities across the nation over a span of 17 days.
Bowl season, catch the excitement!
For the ACC, things kick off with the Military Bowl on Friday, December 27 opposite a Conference USA opponent. For the first time in the bowl game's five-year history, the event will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis; not RFK Stadium in Washington DC.
The non-BCS bowls wrap up with the ACC's final tie-in with the Peach Bowl. The Chick-Fil-A Bowl pairs an ACC team against the SEC and will be played on New Year's Eve at 8 p.m. The Atlanta-based bowl will become part of the College Football Playoff semifinals rotation starting in 2014-15.
The ACC's non-BCS bowl schedule goes from December 27 to December 31 in an effort to let you, the discerning college football fan, forget about ACC football by the time the new year rolls around.
