This week is National Small Business Week. This is the 49th year of celebrations that are spanning online as well as in communities all over the United States. A three day celebration in Washington, D.C. has just been wrapped up but the celebrations and informative sessions in other states continue. The event in Washington, D.C. was an opportunity for small businesses all over to network, expand their knowledge on a wide range of topics and receive awards for their contributions as business owners. ?According to a recent Small Business Administration report, small businesses outperformed large firms in job creation by 75 percent from 1992 through 2010.? So it is a great time to reflect and celebrate small business owners nationwide.? It takes a lot of hard work to run a small business so pat yourself on the back.
