Miami Gardens, FL, invites applications for the position of assistant professor to begin August
2012. This is a nine-month position with a 4/4 load and includes promoting University objectives,
effective committee work, and community service. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in
Communications. We are looking for a generalist in communications or media arts, with an interest in
public relations and advertising as well as graphic design with computer skills in Illustrator and
Photoshop, writing for these platforms and experience with online instruction. Creative, innovative,
dynamic persons who will fit into a small collegial learning-centered institute, in a private,
Catholic, Hispanic serving University with a multicultural student body are encouraged to apply.
